Legal Status 

Swadesh Mrittika Manab Unnayan Songstha is registered with Social Welfare Dept. Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh vide Registration No. 07703 dated 15.03.2004

Objectives 

**To enhance socio-economic condition of the poor through education and capacity building.

** To uplift children and youth through education, motivation about sexual abuse and skill development with training support; special assistance for the disabled people.

**  Women’s empowerment through skill development activities.

** To save the poor and vulnerable communities against water bond diseases through WASH activities.

**  To provide health services to the poor, distressed and vulnerable people.

**To create awareness development on HIV/AIDS in the community.

** Emergency Response, rehabilitation for the disaster victims in Bangladesh and assisting Disaster risk reduction and Climate change adaption.

** Implement Religious dues program for the poor people and vulnerable communities like Ramadan, Qurbani, Aqiqah, Kaffara, Sadaqah, Fidya and Orphan care projects.

Mission

Swadesh Mrittika Manab Unnayan Songstha is dedicated for the deprived people for comprehensive development activities to overcome people’s vulnerabilities and sufferings irrespective of cast, creed and religion and ethnicity pursuit of just society.   

Goal of the organization

The goal of the organization is to  create a learning society in Bangladesh which would be based on justice, equuity and self- respect through involvement of poor disadvantaged group of people in varios development activities and through creation of awareness about various problem and issues that concern the individuals, the community and the country at large.

           

Values

It put emphasis to select very need-based programs ensuring bottom up and participatory planning methodology. The active involvement of executive committee extends the way of running to the right track in development process. However the following are regarded as values of the Organization.
